The Story Behind KIDYKIT
It all started with a little girl who simply couldn’t sit still.
As a child, Elodie was full of energy. Always moving, always curious, always looking for something new to explore. Even sitting on a chair, she would find a way to move from side to side.
Then, one day, her mother introduced her to arts and crafts classes.
Something clicked.
For the first time, Elodie discovered an activity that allowed her to channel her energy through creativity, imagination and her own two hands.
Week after week, she learned to create, experiment and concentrate. And every time she came home with a new creation, she felt incredibly proud.
They weren’t perfect. They didn’t need to be.
They were hers.
That feeling, the joy of making something yourself and proudly sharing it with her mom stayed with Elodie as she grew up.
Her passion eventually became her profession. Elodie became an event decorator, turning ideas into beautiful experiences and creating unique details for special occasions.
But years later, life brought her to a new chapter in Munich.
Now a mother of two, Elodie found herself wanting to give her children the same opportunity she had discovered as a child: the freedom to create, the patience to focus, and the confidence that comes from making something with their own hands.
And a simple question emerged:
What if every child could experience that feeling?
That question became KIDYKIT.
We created KIDYKIT to make creativity an effortless part of children’s celebrations. Each box is thoughtfully designed around a fun and inspiring theme, with everything children need to create their own project and everything parents need to make the experience simple.
No complicated preparation. No endless shopping lists.
Just open the box, create, have fun and enjoy the moment.
